Hey Y'all!
Nick and I cleaned out and the garage and threw out so much stuff. We also went through our memory boxes and Ash found a couple of my old outfits. This first one my mom made, its part of a set - my sisters had similar ones that she made and we wore while performing during her National Young Mother of the Year speeches. Ashleigh has taken the skirt and wears it all the time!
This outfit I wore when I was in the Sunshine Generation - a dancing and singing group that my sisters and I were in as kids. Pretty sure I looked as cute as Ashleigh does in it. ;-)
Yummy! The first Cherries of the season. I buy Cherries one time every year, and this was it! They were delish!
The kids had no clue what a Juke box was. They were mesmerized. It was so funny!
My new car had a little transmission problem and it needed to be replaced, oops, and we got this really awesome replacement car while they were fixing it. Ya...not a fan.
I took the kids to see The Croods in the theater. It was a lot better than I was expecting and the kids loved it!
After the movie we did some exploring in Downtown Vancouver at Ester Short Park. Fun times!
Part way through running errands I realized that Preston tore his shorts. He got so embarrassed but then ripped it even more so all you could see was his undies. Ah, boys!
Oh my children....They didn't want to clean their play room, so decided instead to put all their toys in bags and donate them. Yep. They were both able to "save" a small basket of toys. The rest was donated to a preschool. Hopefully the kids there will love and appreciate the toys that my kids didn't. We won't be getting the kids any more toys anymore.
While we were in line to get gas at Costco the kids decided to crawl in the trunk and play. They are so silly.
Ash found Uncle Matt's OJ. We sent this pic to her real Uncle Matt.
Nick's sister, Betsie, has started a business making Vinyl! it's called Vinyl by Betsie. You can LIKE her page on Facebook. She made and sent us these awesome Vinyls!
This one I put in Ashleigh's room
This one I put above Nicks and My bed
And this one I put in Preston's room
Our memorial day tradition is to visit all the family graves in Vancouver/Portland. We headed first to our son's cemetery.
My kids all together
we also went to clean off and put flowers on both of my great grandparents graves.
What fun adventures you & the kids are having! Fun!! I'm glad you made it to all the graves. Love you!
